The State Sustainable Mobility Platform is a program developed by the
Government of the State of Santa Catarina, with the -cooperation of
municipalities, universities and the organized civil society, to foster

(iv) promote cycling and walking in health, education, transport,
traffic sectors;
(v) stimulate spatial and land use planning for NMT journeys;

(vii) increase cycling;
(viii) reduce accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists;
(ix) reform transport sector budget in favour of NMT projects and
public space;
(x) stimulate the implementation of infrastructure for walking, cycling
